THE ROLE
£40,000-50,000 p.a.
Placecube launched in 2019 through a merger of two small, well-established organisations to bring Digital Place products to market. Built on a foundation of 20 years of software development, systems integration and social collaboration platform delivery for public sector organisations specialising in local services, knowledge collaboration and secure information exchange.
Placecube provides the public sector with the affordable, accessible, and transformational benefits of digitally re-usable ‘great public services’ – designed by the public sector for the public sector. Re-using high quality code, services and designs that have already been paid for, and which have been extensively tested and proven by councils and wider government.
Placecube offers clients a new style of partnership based on the co-creation and re-use of well-designed digital services that demonstrate local place leadership, growing a connected ‘Digital Place’ ecosystem that enables our clients to operate their own platform. We work collaboratively, ensuring that our clients never pay twice for the same development. We differentiate ourselves through our actions and behaviours, living by the core principles that we’ve defined to ‘Do the right thing’.
Our support, tools and services help clients to accelerate the development of a new generation of place-based digital services that make it simple to connect citizens and communities at the front-end and integrate complex systems at the back end, reducing the administrative burden, unnecessary procedural waste and creating great digital experiences that users prefer.
We are looking for an ambitious individual with proven experience of digital training, content creation and supporting learners, ideally within the information, IT/tech, or digital industry. As Placecube’s Product Trainer you will be passionate about helping learners and representing our products, team and organisation. You will be based in the UK and have an up to date understanding of digital technologies used within the public sector (or similar sectors) and a customer-focused approach. Experience of online information resources and the capacity to absorb product information is essential, as is the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.
