From Jason Fahy, Placecube Chief Executive
For the ninth consecutive year, Liferay has once again been named a Leader in the Gartner MQ for Digital Experience Platforms 2019 report.
Among the 17 vendors evaluated in the new report, Liferay is positioned as a Leader based on its completeness of vision and ability to execute.
Jason Fahy, Chief Executive at Placecube said: “As the only open source vendor in the Leaders quadrant, Liferay is in a unique position to pass, to the customer, the open source benefits of continuous innovation, reliability and flexibility across many use cases.
This fact, together with the platform’s flexibility and ability to integrate with a company’s existing systems continues to be a differentiator. This remains at the heart of our philosophy and approach to building our solutions around customer needs, rather than forcing specific technology or requiring a business to change to fit software.”
Fahy added: “Liferay continues to be ranked alongside companies many times its size, and the Liferay platform has been consistently rated by Gartner analysts and reports for nearly a decade, which is extremely rare.
Few, if any, other companies can claim to have been Leaders in a Magic Quadrant year-after-year for as long as Liferay has, which is clear evidence of the team’s reliability and innovation in keeping pace, along with anticipating, new market demands each year.
Far from standing still, we are excited by Liferay’s immediate plans to extend its platform capabilities in the areas of automation, analytics and commerce, as well as our own plans to integrate with leading third parties specialising in robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML).”
